Dorothy was born November 7, 1907, in Lynn, Minn. to Andrew P. and Eleanor (Cady) Larson. At a young age her family moved to a homestead at Hamill, S. D. Read More	Dorothy Tyndall, 92 Nov 7, 1907-Sept 10, 2000 ALLIANCE - Dorothy C. Tyndall died Sunday, September 10, at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Alliance. She was 92 years old. Dorothy was born November 7, 1907, in Lynn, Minn. to Andrew P. and Eleanor (Cady) Larson. At a young age her family moved to a homestead at Hamill, S. D. After completing her education she taught school until her marriage to Alex J. (Jack) Tyndall on May 28, 1929 at Cody. They moved to Alliance in 1943 where they owned and operated Tyndall Plumbing and raised their four children. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of the Good Sam Camping Club. Her survivor's include her four children Vurene Garsee of Alexandria, Louisiana, Vera Carter of Alliance, Harlan Tyndall of Chadron and Elizabeth Jean Gaspers of Georgetown, South Carolina; grandchildren, Roxie Jewell, Billie Jean Byrd, Kenneth Carter, Mark Carter, Greg Carter, Bobi Bailey, Debra Burback, Jim Tyndall, Tracy Gaspers, and Nicholas Gaspers. Also surviving her are thirteen great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 13 at 10 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Reverend Mark Schutt officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
