Description	:	Dorothy “Dottie” Coil (f/k/a Dorothy Hendrickson-Louden), peacefully passed away on August 1, 2018 in Billings, Montana. Dottie was born in Circle, Montana on September 25, 1932 to Arthur and Lily Hendrickson. Dottie graduated from Circle High School before marrying Clair D. Louden in 1953. They lived in Richey until moving to Forsyth in 1968 where they owned the Restwel Motel before they owned the C & D Exxon and Automotive Parts. Read More	Dorothy “Dottie” Coil (f/k/a Dorothy Hendrickson-Louden), peacefully passed away on August 1, 2018 in Billings, Montana. Dottie was born in Circle, Montana on September 25, 1932 to Arthur and Lily Hendrickson. Dottie graduated from Circle High School before marrying Clair D. Louden in 1953. They lived in Richey until moving to Forsyth in 1968 where they owned the Restwel Motel before they owned the C & D Exxon and Automotive Parts. Dottie moved to Billings in 1981 and later married Tom Coil. Eventually Dottie achieved her life-long dream by opening the bridal and formal-wear store The Clothes Castle in 1984 where she dressed many brides and pageant contestants until her retirement in 2006. Dottie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, crossword puzzles with her morning coffee, tending to her roses, and bowling for many years. She was known for her family get-togethers and never disappointed a crowd with her delectable dinners and baking. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Harold and Arthur, her sister Elvira, and her husband Tom. She leaves behind her sisters Vi Schiffer of Billings, and Lillian Stundahl of Circle; son Bryan (Tina), daughter Ginger (Jimmy) Critelli, daughter Jodi Louden; step-daughters Rhonda Detwiler and Sherri Phillips; grandchildren Dominic (Erin), Kristi (Brandon) & Cory Louden; Tanner and Emily Critelli; Chris (Elizabeth), Megan & Casey Sheffield and their father Mike Sheffield. Additionally, Dottie is survived by great grandchildren, Shayly and Quintin; Camrie and Gracen; Olivia, Layla and Madelaine and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Dottie was especially grateful for the friends and caregivers she met at the assisted living home where she spent her last few years. Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel West located at 304 34th Street West. Graveside service will be held adjacent to the Chapel at The Terrace Gardens Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be shared online at www.smithfuneralchapels.com.
