Description	:	Thomas "Tom" W. Coil passed away on Jan. 10, 2005, at his home, as a result of heart failure. He was born in Jordan on Aug. 26, 1930, to Helen and Charles Coil. After many years at the family ranch in Cohagen, he moved to Miles City and married Katherine "Kathy" Gilmore. Of this union a daughter, Rhonda, was born. He was born in Jordan on Aug. 26, 1930, to Helen and Charles Coil. After many years at the family ranch in Cohagen, he moved to Miles City and married Katherine "Kathy" Gilmore. Of this union a daughter, Rhonda, was born. In 1952, Tom began his service in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, Tom returned to Miles City and later began his own auto sales business. Tom later moved to Billings and worked for several years at Midland Dodge. After Tom and Kathy's divorce, he later married Dorothy Louden of Billings. The Coil Family Reunions became a very special event for him. The last of which was enjoyed in July 2004, in Denver. Tom is survived by his wife, Dorothy; special sister-in-law, Vi Schiffer; daughter, Rhonda Detwiler; his special "son," Bill Detwiler; stepchildren, Bryan and Tina Louden, Jimmy and Ginger Critelli, Mike and Jodi Sheffield, and their children, in addition to several nieces and nephews who will all miss him. Memorial service will be held Jan. 13, at 4 p.m., at the Smith West Funeral Chapel. Military rites and interment of urn to follow at Terrace Gardens Cemetery.
