She had been with her daughter since before Mother's Day. --She was born at Shelbyville, MO, the daughter of Lloyd and Edith Schatz Boyles on December 1, 1922. --She married Robert "Bob" Bower on February 20, 1943. He preceded her in death. --Survivors include one daughter, Mona Bower, Atlanta, GA; a son, Bobby, of the Chicago area; one sister, Lois Maurer and husband Al, Jefferson City; one brother, Elwyn Boyles, Rock Island, IL; two grandsons; nieces and nephews. --Mrs. Bower graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1940. She and her husband lived in Rock Island, IL for many years. --Funeral services will be held in Rock Island, IL, Thursday, October 13, at 7 p.m. with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Graveside services will be on Friday, October 14, at 1 p.m. in Shelby Memorial Cemetery in Shelbyville.
