Description	:	Dorothy Gridley Farrar, 87, of Fulton, died Monday at her home. She was born October 8, 1916, in Vavey, Indiana, to the late Oliver David and Pearl Columbine (Pickett) Gridley. On July 5, 1935, she married William Rea "Bill" Farrar. He preceeded her in death on June 7, 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Snapp of Fulton and Suzanne Aker of Watertown, South Dakota, five grandchildren, Shane Sapp of Haw River, North Carolina, Melissa Snapp-Downey of Fulton, Leah Snapp of Fulton, Stephanie Griffin and Darlene Snapp-Knight of Fulton and eight great-grandchildren. He preceeded her in death on June 7, 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Snapp of Fulton and Suzanne Aker of Watertown, South Dakota, five grandchildren, Shane Sapp of Haw River, North Carolina, Melissa Snapp-Downey of Fulton, Leah Snapp of Fulton, Stephanie Griffin and Darlene Snapp-Knight of Fulton and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceeded in death by a brother. Mrs. Farrar was a teacher at the University of Sacramento State College. Services are 1PM Friday at the Haskell and Morrison Funeral Home in Vavay, Indiana. Burial in Vevay Cemetary. Visitation is from 2-4PM, Wednesday, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton and again from 12PM until the time of service Friday at Haskell and Morrison Funeral Home.
