She passed away peacefully on May 13, 2020 at her home in Burien Washington with daughter and family at her bed side. Read More	Dorothy Lee Anderson Gager, 100, was born in Choctaw Oklahoma on March 31, 1920 to Idus Claud and Edna Almeda (Lowery) Anderson. She passed away peacefully on May 13, 2020 at her home in Burien Washington with daughter and family at her bed side. Dorothy grew up in Choctaw Oklahoma and remained in the area until her marriage to the love of her life Dean Phaon Gager on 30 March 1941. She and Dean met at a Bakery where they were both working in Okmulgee Oklahoma. They made the Bakery business a lifelong profession and owned their own bakery, Dean's Bake Shop, in Wenatchee for many years. They eventually moved to Yakima and then Seattle where they managed the bakery departments in various grocery stores in both cities. Dorothy has always loved sports, especially baseball and tennis. She knew all about each player and had her favorites she would be rooting for. She rarely missed a tennis tournament on TV. Dorothy had a very impressive memory for most of her life and could remember names and birth dates for most of her cousins all across the country. Surviving are her daughter of the home, along with four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dean in 2005, her son Larry in 2003, her parents, her brothers Woody and Gene, and her sister Theo Childress.
