Description	:	ST STEPHEN, SC Dorothy "Dot" McKenzie Gatlin, 69, of St. Stephen, SC, a former floral designer for the General Store in Kingstree, died Saturday morning at her residence. Her funeral will be 4:00 PM Monday afternoon, July 23, 2012, in the Bonneau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in Berkeley Grove Cemetery, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the CHURCH from 5:00 until 7:00 PM this Sunday. Mrs. Gatlin was born September 21, 1942, in Manning, SC, a daughter of Melton McKenzie and Carrie Mae Coker McKenzie. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and a member of the Bonneau Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was also a member of the "Golden Agers". She was a former cashier at the St. Stephen IGA, and she enjoyed working with flowers. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Gatlin was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Fenters, and three brothers, Dallas, Bobby, and Talbert McKenzie. Surviving are, her husband, Eddie D. Gatlin, Sr.; three sons, Eddie D. Gatlin, Jr., and his wife, Amy, and Donald Gatlin and his wife, Rhonda, all of St. Stephen, and Tracy Gatlin and his wife, Rene, of N. Charleston; a daughter-in-law, Sally Gatlin of St. Stephen; a brother, Donnie McKenzie and his wife, Elizabeth, of Kingstree; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the Amedisys Hospice for their assistance during Mrs. Gatlin's illness.
