Father Thomas Vopatek. The couple were attended by Anton Kupka, a cousin of the bridegroom, and Miss Mildred Sevcik, sister of the bride. The bride wore a white crepe dress, floor length, with a short train, and carried a bouquet of white Easter lilies and sweet peas. She wore a veil of silk tulle with chantilly lace, held in place with orange blossoms. The bridesmaid wore a gown of aqua blue crepe, with white accessories, and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Members of the wedding party enjoyed a dinner at the home of the bride s parents at noon. The couple then drove to Cedar Rapids for a few days visit with two sisters of the bridegroom. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sevcik, west of Clutier. Mr. Parizek is a son of Charles Parizek, near Elberon. Both young people were educated in the rural schools of their home communities and in recent years have been living at home. It is expected that the bridegroom will continue to be associated with his father in farming and that the couple will make their home on the Parizek farm. [Traer Star Clipper; 4 January 1935]
