Read More	Dorothy Semenoff July 2, 1931 - August 20, 2021 Dorothy Semenoff's life was bookended by her days on Potrero Hill. She often regaled her grandchildren with tales of growing up on the Hill, and on August 20, she died there peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by family. In between, she lived overseas for several years—accompanying her husband, Nick, while he served in the US Army following World War II—and later raised a family of three children in Daly City. In her later years, she dedicated her days to writing her stories down and learning the ins and outs of video calls to not only keep up with her grandchildren in Colorado and Southern California, but also to meet her first great-grandchild. Dorothy is survived by her children, four grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, and was preceded in death by her husband, Nick, of 68 years. Visitation for Dorothy will take place at Duggan's Serra Mortuary in Daly City on Friday, August 27th, at 3PM. A funeral service at Duggan's Serra Mortuary will follow at 11AM on Saturday, August 28th, whereafter she will be laid to rest at the Russian Sectarian Cemetery in Colma, CA.
