She was born September 15, 1925 at Falls City, NE., the daughter of Harry Edward and Elizabeth Pearl Williamson Henninger. She had lived in Jefferson County since 1930. "Dot" worked many years as a Nursing Aid at care facilities in Jefferson County, including the Fairview Nursing Home from 1965 to 1976, Jefferson County Geriatrics Center from 1977 to 1979 and at Cherokee Lodge in Oskaloosa from 1980 until her retirement in 1985.... She was born September 15, 1925 at Falls City, NE., the daughter of Harry Edward and Elizabeth Pearl Williamson Henninger. She had lived in Jefferson County since 1930. "Dot" worked many years as a Nursing Aid at care facilities in Jefferson County, including the Fairview Nursing Home from 1965 to 1976, Jefferson County Geriatrics Center from 1977 to 1979 and at Cherokee Lodge in Oskaloosa from 1980 until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the Williamstown Assembly of God Church and the Women's Ministry of the Church. She was married to Elmo Alden Reed on October 8, 1942, he preceded her in death on December 7, 1984. She is survived by one Son, Donald E. Reed, one Daughter, Arlene E. Elston, both of Oskaloosa, one Sister, Carol Jolliff, Mesquite, TX., 11 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Grandson. "Dot" was preceded in death by three Sisters, Mina Adams, Mary Jane Wilks and Lois Riley, one Brother, Harry Edward Henninger, Jr., a Granddaughter, Dorothy Louise Reed and a Great-Grandson, Cody Reed. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday at Williamstown Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tonight (Thursday) at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
