Description	:	Dorothy Vaclava Wilson, age 91, of Waverly and formerly of Janesville, died Monday, October 3, 2016, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly, Iowa. Dorothy was born on September 28, 1925, in Protivin, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Holub) Sindelar. She was baptized September 30, 1925 and later confirmed at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin. Dorothy attended Parochial Elementary in Protivin and then Lawler High School graduating in 1944. Read More	Dorothy Vaclava Wilson, age 91, of Waverly and formerly of Janesville, died Monday, October 3, 2016, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly, Iowa. Dorothy was born on September 28, 1925, in Protivin, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Holub) Sindelar. She was baptized September 30, 1925 and later confirmed at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin. Dorothy attended Parochial Elementary in Protivin and then Lawler High School graduating in 1944. On September 28, 1944, Dorothy was united in marriage to Harry Wilson at Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford, Iowa. The couple would make their home in Janesville. During her life Dorothy worked for Janesville Creamery from 1950 to 1966, Chamberlain Manufacturing in Waterloo from 1966 to 1970 and for Waverly Newspapers from 1986 until retiring in 2003. Dorothy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly and American Legion Auxiliary in Janesville. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading, however, her greatest enjoyment was her children and grandchildren. Dorothy's memory is honored by: eight children, Sharyn (Robert) Bohach of Mesa, Arizona, Linda Augustine of Chandler, Arizona, Wendy Hark of Windsor Heights, Iowa, Joseph (Rebecca) Wilson of Hudson, Iowa, Robert Wilson of Gilbert, Arizona, Christina (Jim) Schlunz of Nevada, Iowa, Merry (Gary) Cool of Iowa City, Iowa, and Cynthia Wilson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren, Scott Meier, Sara Saladrigas, Teresa Pranger, Brian Junge, Jim, Nick, and Laura Wilson, Heather Kalkhoff, Brooke Trent, Stephanie Sprouse, Benjamin Cool, and Daniel and Christopher Weber; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; a grandson, Micheal Meier; two brothers, Joseph and Rayfield Sindelar; and two sisters, Lucille Humpal and Lillian Kirschbaum. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 7, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Waverly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly where the family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church and online condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com. 319-352-1187
