Pleasant, IA; one daughter-in-law Marsha Alexander of Lee’s Summit, MO; eight grandchildren: Dorian Alexander III (Katie), Justin Alexander (Beth), Bill Morrow (Missy), Lee Morrow (Katie), Ilene Cook, Michael Goble (Donna), John Goble (Mandy) and Kelly Bruce (Curt), 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son DM Alexander; one daughter, Mary Jane Goble; and son-in-law Mike Goble; one brother and two sisters with spouses. Dorothy was a member of the Shelbyville Baptist Church, Rebecca Club, and was the Volunteer of the Year with Oats. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts, gardening, and traveling. A visitation will be held Friday, July 19, 2019, from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 19, 2019, at 3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Shelbyville Memorial Cemetery in Shelbyville, MO.
