In 1870 Fed. census, Jennie is living in Barlow, Washington County, Ohio with Persis (Walker)Lawton, aged 41; married to Richard G. Lawton. Persis was Douglas' sister. In 1870 Fed. census, Edward Walker (Edward Carlos), age 12, is living in Belpre, Washington, Ohio, with his grandmother Betsey P. Walker, age 71, and her son, Henry M., age 32, a minister. The person in this household named Jennie was Henry M. Walkers first wife, (Virginia L. Newport, married 26 May 1869 in Wood, West Virginia.) I don't know what happened to Douglas's wife Sarah E.
