Description	:	Chester Daniel "Chick" Lee was born in Salt Lick, Kentucky on Sept. 3, 1899. He was the only child of William Oscar and Aletha (Daniel) Lee. While he was still an infant his parents moved to Sioux City and then Merrill. He studied veterinary medicine and became the first Extension poultry pathologist from Iowa State University. By the time of his retirement, he had served the University for 27 years. He married Elizabeth Rhoads on 27 JUN 1931 in Boone County, Iowa. They were blessed with three children, William C, Ann Elizabeth and Margaret Aletha "Peggy."	Chester Daniel "Chick" Lee was born in Salt Lick, Kentucky on Sept. 3, 1899.
