Description	:	Curry, Erastus Scott, son of George and Mary Esther (Scott) Curry, was born in Pembrke, Ontario, Canada, Aug. 9, 1835. He received his collegiate training in Victoria College, Coburg, Canada. Was ordained to the Methodist Episcopal ministry, June 14, 1866. He continued in this service in Canada through nineteen years, when he was appointed to Sault Ste Marie, Canada, and became interested in work among the Indians on the north shore of Lake Superior. Publications: The No-din Romance, History and science of the Prehistoric Races of America and other Lands, pp.33, published by the autor, Christy, MO., 1899. Also, Pre-historic Races of America and Other Lands, Vol.i, 1903. Married, June 15, 1866 in Montreal, Canada, Eliza Jane, daughter of Edward and Jane (Robinson) Cleary, who survives. Eleven children, seven living. Died, April, 19, 1906, in Myers Falls, Wash, from complications of diseases resulting in heart failure, aged 70 years, 8 months, 10 days.
