Bower, 38, prominent Twin City physician who resided at 408 Orchard street, Uhrichsville, died at Twin City hospital, Dennison, at 3 p.m. yesterday from a complication of diseases. Bower, 38, prominent Twin City physician who resided at 408 Orchard street, Uhrichsville, died at Twin City hospital, Dennison, at 3 p.m. yesterday from a complication of diseases. His condition had been critical for the past week. Dr. Bower was born near Bowerston on May 20th, 1900, a son of Brady A. and Leota Melhorn Bower. Dring the World war, Dr. Bower served in the officers' training camp at Wooster. He graduated from the Ohio State University medical shool in 1925, and served his internship in the Presbyterian hosptial at Pittsburgh, Pa. He had practiced in Uhrichsville since 1926. Active In Lodges Dr. Bower was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, the various Masonic orders and of the Uhrichsville Presbyterian chrch. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; three sons, Freddie, Billy and Tommy, all at home and his mother, Mrs. Leota Bower. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 p.m. Thursday with Dr. Condon, a former Uhrichsville minister, officiating, assisted by Rev. H. O. Bush. Burial in charge of D. W. Boor, Bowerston funeral director, will be made in the Bowerston cemetery. Friends may view the body after noon tomorrow.
