JACOB PETERS GLENVIL, Oct. 25 - Dr. Jacob Peters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hero Peters was born in Glenvil; October 17, 1900 and died October 17, 1934. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith November 25, 1900 and confirmed April 18, 1915. After completing the courses offered by the local schools, he attended Hebron Academy at Hebron. After receiving his degree as doctor of dental surgery at the University of Nebraska he was appointed to the medical staff of the state hospital at Ingleside, dividing his time with a practice in Glenvil. On August 10, 1927, he was united in marriage to Carlyn Kelly, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W.E. Kelly of Ingleside. To this union was born one daughter, Jeanine. Preceding him in death are his father and one brother Harry. Surviving him besides his wife and daughter, are his mother, four sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Erich Meyer, pastor, in charge. Burial was made in the St. Paul Lutheran cemetery (sic), where the Rev. Carl Goede, pastor, offered prayer. Pallbearers were Dr. A.T. McCashland, Dr. E.A. Thomas, Dr. Leonard A. Swanson, Dr. A.H. Fechner, C.G. Cashler, C.R. Logue.
