Description	:	Harry H. Grosbach was born on November 24, 1863, in Sellersburg, Indiana to Heinrich "Henry" and Anna Marie (Müller) Grosbach. The fifth child of seven children, he obtained his early education in Sellerburg. He would later attend the Lexington, Indiana Academy and after graduation would try his hand at several years of teaching. That was not his ultimate goal though and soon he was enrolled at the "Eclectic Medical Institute of Cincinnati". Grosbach was born on November 24, 1863, in Sellersburg, Indiana to Heinrich "Henry" and Anna Marie (Müller) Grosbach. The fifth child of seven children, he obtained his early education in Sellerburg. He would later attend the Lexington, Indiana Academy and after graduation would try his hand at several years of teaching. That was not his ultimate goal though and soon he was enrolled at the "Eclectic Medical Institute of Cincinnati". He graduated in 1885 at the head of his class and a year later journeyed west to Nebraska, setting up practice in the town of Imperial. Dr. HH married Rosella "Rose" Bottorff on October 3, 1887, in Sterling, Colorado. In 1894 they moved the practice to Wauneta, which would remain home to HH and Rose for the rest of their lives. Three children would be born to the family there: Homer, Greta and Ralph. Dr. HH Grosbach, was the family doctor to most residents in Chase County and was credited with saving many lives during the 1918 Influenza Pandemic. He made most of his house calls with a horse and buggy, later in life learning to drive an automobile (poorly - according to his grand-daughter, Gladys). He died on March 28, 1939, in Wauneta, Nebraska, at the age of 75, and is buried there at Riverside Cemetery.
