Boller Services;Tues,April 20,10:00 a.m. Services for "D.A." will be held Tuesday,April 20th. at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park officiated by Dan Wilson of Hoffman Hospice."D.A." passed away April 15th after a lengthy illness. He moved from Oklahoma to Alberta,Canada in 1929.Left school at age 16 to work for his dad on a drilling rig.Married his childhood sweetheart Lorraine Adams on July 30,1938.They moved to Bakersfield in August 1943, where he worked for Rocky Mountain Drilling and 1946 then went to work for Gulf Oil. Among his many affiliations are Al Malaikah Temple, ScottishRite,Kern County Shrine Club,Corinthian Lodge # 22 in Okatoka,Alberta and Footprinters. He is survived by his wife,Lorraine of 60 years,son and daughter-in-law , Lonny and Donette Boller,daughter,Penny Anderson,grandsons,Dean and Jason Boller,Lonnie and Jeff Mills,Benjie Snider;granddaughters,Laurie Nelson,and Kelly Tackett and their families.Great grandchildren,Jennifer and Russell Boller,Mitchell,Justin, and Ashley Mills,Jaime, and Cameron Nelson,Mark,Mitchell, and Mallory Tackett, and Paige Snider.Sister Theatus Smalley,Elouise Cornitius and husband Bill,brother in law Orin Adams and wife Jean,sister in law Evelyn Boller and numerous nieces and nephews.pallbearers will be his grandsons. A special thank you to Hoffman Hospice and all the caregivers who helped make him comfortable.Visitation will be held at the Chapel on Monday,April 19th. from 4 pm to 8 pm.Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary Funeral Directors.
