Retired from Concrete Materials after 32 years of service, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Maggie Lovin; three sisters, and three brothers. Surviving are his wife, of 52 years, Bonnie Lovin; sons, Clyde Lovin and Eddie Lovin of Morristown; step-daughter, Phyllis Allen of Morristown; sisters, Mamie Jarnagin of Bean Station and Irene Atkins of Knoxville, and several nieces and nephews.
