Stark Druzilla McNeff was born in Brooklyn Indiana January 16, 1840 and departed this life August 29, 1925 aged 85 years, 7 months and 13 days. She lost her mother by death when she was a small child and at an early age she moved to Iowa where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to James J. Stark in 1865 at Walnut City Iowa. Stark Druzilla McNeff was born in Brooklyn Indiana January 16, 1840 and departed this life August 29, 1925 aged 85 years, 7 months and 13 days. She lost her mother by death when she was a small child and at an early age she moved to Iowa where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to James J. Stark in 1865 at Walnut City Iowa. Five children were born to this union two of whom preceded the mother in death. These were Ethie [sic] and Edgar. The other children are Wright M. Stark of Boulder, Colorado and Walter A. Stark of Denver, Colorado and Mrs. Charles M. King of Ord. These with her aged husband and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive her. The Stark family moved from Iowa to Wilcox, Missouri and later to Fullerton, Nebraska in 1890 and in 1893 they came to Valley county and this has been the family home since. They first settled on a farm in Mira Valley where they lived until about 18 years ago when they moved to Ord. Mrs. Stark was converted when a young girl and united with the church and was a member of the Ord Christian church at the time of her death. She was in reasonable health until a week or so ago when she fell that resulted in a broken hip and she has failed rapidly since until her death. The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon.
