Description	:	Dwight H. Jennings, 68, of Tipton passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at his home. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2015, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran in Tipton. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa. Dwight Howard Jennings was born July 19, 1946, at Bellevue Hospital in Muscatine, Iowa, son of Herbert Harold and Ruth Lanetta (Wagaman) Jennings. Dwight graduated from Tipton High School in 1966. He was a self-employed lawn care and snow removal specialist. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tipton. Dwight was a Christian who was proud to say he walked with the Lord. He enjoyed Bluegrass music, stock car races and going to the Cedar Rapids Kernels games with his girlfriend Christine. Dwight truly was a kind man and was always there to help others. He will be missed. Dwight is survived by his special friend, Christine Williams; five sisters, Mary (Bob) Lindemann, and Ann (Jerry) Murphy, both of Iowa City, Sharon (John) Pease, Linda Jennings, and Donna (Joe) Terfler, all of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Robert Jennings of Davenport, and Chuck Jennings of Tipton; one sister-in-law, Sandy Jennings of Davenport; one brother-in-law, Phillip Chicchelly of Cedar Rapids; many nieces and nephews; and his dear cat, Tiger. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Virginia Chicchelly, one brother, Wally Jennings, one sister-in-law, Patricia Jennings, and two nephews, Kurt Gardner, and Travis Jennings.
