Description	:	Earl Chris Roth was born July 7, 1927, on a farm south of Milford, Nebraska to Christian and Mary Roth, the oldest of six children, and passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the Monarch End of Life Care Center in Lincoln at the age of 79 years 11 months and 27 days. Read More	Earl Chris Roth was born July 7, 1927, on a farm south of Milford, Nebraska to Christian and Mary Roth, the oldest of six children, and passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the Monarch End of Life Care Center in Lincoln at the age of 79 years 11 months and 27 days. Earl attended Milford Public Schools and as a young man accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized and became a long-time member of East Fairview Mennonite Church. On February 3, 1952 he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Roth at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in Wayland, Iowa and to this union four sons and a daughter were born. Earl was employed at Swansons Egg Processing Plant and later at Geesons Masters Cleaners, both of Seward. In May of 1958, he began his long-time employment with Schlegel's Grocery Store, retiring at the age of 78. It was here where he enjoyed the everyday contact with the community. Earl was a caring and faithful servant and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. At East Fairview Mennonite Church, Earl was the church treasurer for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed observing the workings of agriculture, even though farming was not his vocation. He loved gardening and taking walks with this wife of 55 years. His time spent with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter was very important to him. Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae, sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Nancy Roth, Lancaster, PA, Doyle and Ann Roth, Milford, Jay and Anne Roth, Lancaster, PA, Deon and Valerie Roth, Lititz, PA, daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Alan Giagnocavo, Manheim, PA, 10 grandchildren, Todd Roth, Jenna Betz and her husband Brandon, Jill Roth, Kim Roth, Wilson Roth, Andrew Roth, Micah Roth, Daria Roth, Alex Giagnocavo, Hannah Giagnocavo, one great-granddaughter, Larkin Betz, sisters and brothers-in-law, Berniece and Clayton Beckler, Shirley and Richard Miller, all of Milford, Grace and Dale Grieser, West Point, Eunice and Marvin Oswald, Allen, Vada and Ken Roth, Dorchester, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and spouses, Donald and Arline Roth, Urban and Marcia Roth, Eldora and Don Boshart, and Alice and Gene Wyse, all of Wayland, IA, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Mary Roth. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 6, 2007, at East Fairview Mennonite Church, rural Milford, with Pastors Bill Saltzman and Anthony Troyer officiating. Interment in East Fairview Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday at Lauber-Moore Funeral Home, Milford, with the family receiving relatives and friends at Milford Mennonite Church. Memorial have been established to "The Bible League" for bible distributions. Pallbearers are his grandsons, Todd, Wilson, Andrew and Micah Roth, Alex Giagnocavo and Brandon Betz.
