Earl was born March 21, 1935 in Pincher Creek, AB to Ray and Hazel Gregory. He attended school at Waldren (north of Brocket) and also farmed with his father. Earl worked for the Town of Pincher Creek in 1965 before moving to Vulcan in 1971. He worked for Gulf in Vulcan for 6 years (and 5 company name changes!) before working for Ken Reid at UGG. In 1980, Earl started working for the Town of Vulcan until retiring in 1998. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of the Vulcan Legion and Vulcan & District Fish & Game Association. Despite his failing health, Earl loved his family and will be dearly missed. Besides his loving wife of 56 years, Mary, Earl is survived by his son Bruce Gregory and daughter Violet (Marc) Myers, four grandchildren Sheri and Andrew Gregory and Amanda (Brady) Jensen and Kayla Myers, and great grandchild Karman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his parents Ray and Hazel Gregory and his brothers Wayne and Martin Gregory. Earl’s family will gather together to honor his life on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 1 pm at Fairview Cemetery, Pincher Creek, AB. (Macleod Street – Hwy #785).
