Description	:	Belle Plaine Union, news paper, Mr E. S. Brown, Obit. "Mr. E. S. Brown, aged 66 years, formerly a resident of this township, but removed to Conway Springs, Kansas, about two years ago, died last Wednesday, December 30th. He started from home early in the afternoon to the home of his son, Alexander Brown. The folks at home did not become alarmed until late in the evening, when he did not return. They then went to look for him, and found him about a quarter of a mile from home, dead, had a very severe attack... Read More	Belle Plaine Union, news paper, Mr E. S. Brown, Obit. "Mr. E. S. Brown, aged 66 years, formerly a resident of this township, but removed to Conway Springs, Kansas, about two years ago, died last Wednesday, December 30th. He started from home early in the afternoon to the home of his son, Alexander Brown. The folks at home did not become alarmed until late in the evening, when he did not return. They then went to look for him, and found him about a quarter of a mile from home, dead, had a very severe attack of heart trouble in September, and it is thought that he had another attack then. The remains were brought here for burial, and were tenderly laid to rest in the Dayton Cemetery. He leaves several brothers, a wife, seven children, and a number of grandchildren to morn his loss. His wife, three sons, a daughter and a niece came here to attend the burial. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of this whole community.". (The remains were later moved to Oak Hill Cemetery near Belle Plaine, Benton County, Iowa)
