In addition to this, he was one of the founders of the bank, of which he was also a director. He was a member of the school board, and had become identified with other interests of the Borough. Public affairs commanded his attention. It was a sad sight to see his little children, of which there are seven, assemble around the grave at the funeral which was largely attended by his many friends. The Elks' lodge, of Mount Holly, was in attendance, also the Brotherhood of America, of both of which the deceased was a member. Eber had a host of friends wherever he was known. He will be missed, not only by his family, but by the community where he resided. He leaves a widow and seven small children. ....
