Description	:	Funeral services for Edd O. Peterson, 75, were held Monday at 2 p. m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Leland, the Rev. Robert Fitzgerald officiating. Burial was in the Forest Home Cemetery east of Leland with the Olson Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Peterson died Thursday, March 24, at Mercy Hospital, Mason City, after an illness. He was born January 14, 1891 near Leland, the son of Ole M. and Bridt Branstad Peterson. He was a life long member of Our Savior's Lutheran Clurch. He was born January 14, 1891 near Leland, the son of Ole M. and Bridt Branstad Peterson. He was a life long member of Our Savior's Lutheran Clurch. He attended the Leland school and Waldorf College, Forest City. He was married to Amanda Larson of Forest City March 14, 1914 and was successfully engaged in farming in the vicinity of Leland until his retirement ten years ago. Mr. Peterson was active in community affairs and served as secretary and treasurer of the Leland Creamery and held various of offices in the Farm Bureau organization. Mr. Peterson is survived by his wife, one daughter, Barbara, Mrs. Robert Engstler of Garner, and two sons, Lloyd of Davenport, and Clarion, at home. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Mabelle Salveson, Fergus Falls, Minn., Mrs. Ruth Peckham and Mrs. Anna Erickson, both of Thompson. Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers, Alfred, Philip and Oscar, and one sister, mrs. Louise Nelson.
