Description	:	Former Resident Dies at Home in Minneapolis. E. J. Caparoon, 63, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Caparoon of Morning Sun, died at Minneapolis, Minn., October 20. The body was brought to Morning Sun, to the home of his parents, Saturday, and the funeral services held from there Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. H. G. Patterson of the Reformed Presbyterian church. The interment was at Elmwood cemetery. The body was brought to Morning Sun, to the home of his parents, Saturday, and the funeral services held from there Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. H. G. Edgar Joseph Caparoon was born May 7, 1879, near Pleasant Grove, Des Moines County. He entered the United States Service, August 4, 1900, expect to go to China for the Boxer War. He served one year at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota; one year at Eagle City, Alaska, and one year at Missoula, Montana. After his discharge he was employed in the Northwest Lumbering industries for many years. Then returning to Minneapolis, Minnesota, he became an employee of the American Railway Express. He - was employed here for the past fourteen years until the accident occurred which caused his death. He suffered a severe fall which fractured his hip.
