WIlliams died at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 28, 1997, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She was born April 7, 1914, in Fairfield to Aaron Benjamin and Bertha Ann Glassburner Nott. She married James Palmer; he preceded her in death. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she had been an employee of John Deere Ottumwa Works. She was a member of High Point Foursquare Gospel Church and O.B. Nelson Unit #3 of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by a son, Aaron James Sheppard of Abilene, Texas; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and a brother George Nott of Ottumwa, The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Loyd Osborn of High Point Foursquare Gospel Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials my be made to the High Point Foursquare Gospel Church.
