Description	:	Edith Everett was born at Grafto, Neb., August 2, 1882. She died at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Saturday, August 26, 1967, at the age of 85 years and 20 days. Miss Everett lived all her life on a farm near Grafton. She attended school at Grafton and later kept house for her brother and sister. For the past year she has been at Moore's Nursing Home in Fairmont, until a few weeks ago, when she was taken to the hospital. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mable Stevens, of Fairmont and... Read More	Edith Everett was born at Grafto, Neb., August 2, 1882. She died at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Saturday, August 26, 1967, at the age of 85 years and 20 days. Miss Everett lived all her life on a farm near Grafton. She attended school at Grafton and later kept house for her brother and sister. For the past year she has been at Moore's Nursing Home in Fairmont, until a few weeks ago, when she was taken to the hospital. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mable Stevens, of Fairmont and by eight nephews and nieces: Earl Everett and Raymond Everett of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Ethel Pipkin, also at Boise, Mrs. Verna Stace of Nuevo, Cal., Mrs. Grace Sanner of Pico Rivera, Cal., Mrs. Wilma Milby of Livermore, Cal., Mrs. Alice Belz, of Lincoln, Neb., and Harold Stevens of Grafton. She will be missed by her family and friends. Her life was spent in service for others. Funeral services were conducted from the Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont at 10?30 a.m. Tuesday, August 29. Rev. William Reitmeier officiating . Mrs. Don Kleinschmidt sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "In the Garden." Mrs. Marvin Swartz was the accompanist. Pallbearers were Harold Barth, Herbert Baumann, Ray Frederick, Harry Korensky, Warren Oates and Dean Schinzel. Interment was in the Grafton Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal September 14, 1967 Lot owner: Jesse Everett.
