Description	:	Butcher, Edmond 25 June 1833 15 Dec 1907 ------ Edmond Butcher was born in Cambridgeshire, England. In October 1853 he immigrated to America disembarking at New York City. From there he went to live in Orleans County, New York until 1855 when he headed west to Kalamazoo County, Michigan. There he met and married Mary O'Leary on 9 April 1855 in a ceremony performed by Squire Deacons. In August of 1873 ,Edmond and Mary separated and later divorced Edmond married again, 18 June 1877, to Miss Angelina Write. Angelina was also a native of England and the daughter of George H and Jane Wright. Edmond and Angelina had six children: Grant E. born August 4, 1874 Jonathan January 1, 1877; Delia June 5, 1879 Garfield June 6, 1881 Samuel June 28, 1886 Tiemettie June 8, 1899 Edmond and Angelina Wright Butcher were both christened and confirmed in the Church of England and members of the Episcopal Church. ****************************
