Yost, 92, of Good Samaritan Village died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Kohler Mortuary chapel in Sutton with the Rev. Bill Jardine officiating. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery. Mr. Yost was born April 21, 1905, to George and Magdeline (Hamburger) Yost in Harvard. He graduated from Harvard High School. Mr. Yost was born April 21, 1905, to George and Magdeline (Hamburger) Yost in Harvard. He graduated from Harvard High School. On July 15, 1926, he married Edna Hansen of Sutton in Marysville, Kan. They lived in Omaha for 32 years where he was a long haul truck driver for Watson Brothers Trucking. They moved to Kansas City, Kan., where they lived for three years. He worked for Yellow Freight System. In 1970 he and his wife retired and moved to Sutton. In 1980 they moved to Good Samaritan Village. His wife died Dec. 19, 1992. Survivors are three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by one daughter, three sisters and two brothers. -------------------------
