Description	:	Edna Ferris, 94, of Genoa, died Thursday, June 13, 2002, at Columbus Community Hospital. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Genoa, with the Rev. Hugo Westphal officiating. Burial in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Patrick Funeral Chapel, Genoa. The family moved to Silver Creek when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1929. On Aug. 21, 1929, she was married to Clarence Ferris at Columbus Courthouse. The couple farmed in the Silver Creek area until they moved to Genoa in 1936. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and she was a Sunday School teacher and part of the Sunday School Education Club. Survivors include a son, Charles, of Genoa and daughter Doris (Raymond) Olson of Genoa; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Richard, and infant twins.
