Mrs. Niday had resided with a daughter, Miss Miriam Niday at 909 Fairlane. Mrs. Niday was born December 14, 1901 in Iowa and had lived in the Allerton, Iowa community most of her life. She was a member of the Christian Church and was a housewife. Her parents were Joseph L and Edith Coulter DeSilva. Her husband, Floyd A. Niday, preceded her in death. The body will lie in state after 6 p.m. today at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chilicothe. Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral services for Mrs. Niday will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with the Rev. Walter L. Bingham officiating. Interment will be in the Allerton cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested expressions of sympathy may be contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Heart Fund. These may be left at the Lindley Funeral Home.
