Description	:	Edna E. Masselin, 81, of 3940 Rimrock Road, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992, in the St. John's Lutheran Home of natural causes. She was born Jan. 25, 1911 in Columbus, the daughter of John and Nellie Holmgren. She was raised in Columbus and attended school in Columbus and Iowa. She married Alvin Southworth in Columbus and they lived in Park City and Washington state. Masselin, 81, of 3940 Rimrock Road, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992, in the St. John's Lutheran Home of natural causes. She was born Jan. 25, 1911 in Columbus, the daughter of John and Nellie Holmgren. She was raised in Columbus and attended school in Columbus and Iowa. She married Alvin Southworth in Columbus and they lived in Park City and Washington state. Edna moved to Billings in 1951 and later married Leo Masselin on May 29, 1961 in Hardin and he preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1984. They lived in Billings and spent winters in Arizona for several years. Mom loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to travel and go camping. She was a very giving person and will be missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Sandra) Hert and Mrs. Bob (Lea) Skates, both of Billings; one son, Alvin Southworth, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz; eight grandchildren, Peggy Marshall, Julie Southworth, Paul Southworth, Kristi Nemec, Mike Skates, Rich Hert, Debbie Lutton and Cynde Symonds; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Holmgren of Fishtail, John and Herbert Holmgren of Columbus. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Smith West Chapel. Interment will be in the Terrace Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Mont. Affiliate, 2526 Sixth Ave N., Billings, Mont. 59101; or charity of choice.
