Description	:	The funeral of Edna Scheer was held Saturday from the Zion Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. George Obermeyer and a large concourse of friends and relatives followed the remains to their last resting place in the Creighton cemetery. Edna Irene Scheer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scheer, was born October 26, 1905 on a farm two and a half miles north of Bazile Mills and died at the family home southeast of Creighton on April 7, 1920, being 14 years, 5 months and 12 days of age. Edna Irene Scheer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scheer, was born October 26, 1905 on a farm two and a half miles north of Bazile Mills and died at the family home southeast of Creighton on April 7, 1920, being 14 years, 5 months and 12 days of age. Meningitis was the cause of her death, which followed an attack of influenza, she being sick about three weeks. All that medical science, skilled hands, skillful nursing and loving hands could do was done to relieve her suffering, but to no avail. Setzkorn, Pierce; Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Wecker, Hadar; Mr. and Mrs. L Wichmann, Pierce; Mrs. Wm. Lefferdink, Hadar; Chas. Ulrich, Plainview; Mr. and Mrs. J. Wagner, Hadar; Wm Marquardt, Hadar and Mrs. Siebert Ickler, Wayne.
