She was born July 14, 1912, in Malvern to William and Emily Olson Lutz. She graduated from Malvern High School and taught school in Mills County until she was married to Roy Proctor December 17, 1935. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2011. Read More	Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier online,” January 8, 2014: OTTUMWA — Edna Mae Lutz Proctor, 101, of 535 Leighton St., died at 11:50 p.m., January 7, 2014 at her home. She was born July 14, 1912, in Malvern to William and Emily Olson Lutz. She graduated from Malvern High School and taught school in Mills County until she was married to Roy Proctor December 17, 1935. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2011. She was the bookkeeper for Proctor’s Auto Parts, the family business. She was a member of Willard St. United Methodist Church and the Willard St. United Methodist Church Women’s Circle. Edna was also an avid china painter and member of the Ottumwa china painting club for many years. She enjoyed staying in touch with her family as well as her many friends, some of whom she had known since high school. Edna was a very caring and loving person. She is survived by her son, Edward and his wife, Ginger of Georgia; a grandson Rob and his wife, Nicole; a granddaughter, Chris and her husband, Mark; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Stocker of Ottumwa and Evelyn Lohman of Cedar Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Alfred Lutz; and by her beloved husband of 75 years, Roy Proctor. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Leila Disburg officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
