Description	:	Ladson Edna M. Mishoe, formerly of Aynor, passed away peacefully and went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ October 10, 2013 at Hospice of Charleston in Mount Pleasant, SC. Edna was born on May 2, 1926 in Galivants Ferry, SC a daughter of the late James Wright and the late Sanatha Graham Shelley. She graduated from Aynor High School in 1943 and attended Limestone College. She married the late Francis A. Mishoe in 1945. Edna was employed with the Horry County Library for many years. Edna was born on May 2, 1926 in Galivants Ferry, SC a daughter of the late James Wright and the late Sanatha Graham Shelley. She graduated from Aynor High School in 1943 and attended Limestone College. She married the late Francis A. Mishoe in 1945. Edna was employed with the Horry County Library for many years. She worked at the Pentagon in Washington, DC and worked at Fort Jackson, SC at the post library until retiring. In 2002 she moved to Summerville, SC to live with her daughter. She was a faithful member of Miles Road Baptist Church in Summerville. She is predeceased by three brothers, JW Shelley, McRoy Shelley, and Edison Shelley, one sister Iola Shelley Frye, and one son in law, Robert Bennett. Mrs. Edna is survived by one son, James A. Mishoe (Angie) of Chapin, SC, one daughter, Cheryl Bennett of Ladson, SC, one brother, Carl Shelley of Galivants Ferry, two sisters, Elneeda Frye of Galivants Ferry, Shelby Jean Davis of Tulsa, OK, four grandchildren, Jan Mishoe (David), Jim Mishoe (Jennifer), Robby Bennett (Tosha), Micah Bennett (Amber), and seven great grandchildren, Parker, Abigail, Cameron, Cade, Sims, Bryce, and Claira Belle. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday October 13, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Miles Road Baptist Church Building Fund Missions, 816 Miles Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Mrs. Edna and her family are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home of 290 9th Ave. Aynor, SC 29511.
