Mrs. Frye was born in Aynor, a daughter of the late James Wright Sr. and Lillian Graham Shelley. She was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church. Mrs. Frye was born in Aynor, a daughter of the late James Wright Sr. and Lillian Graham Shelley. She was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church. Mrs. Frye was retired from the Horry County School systems after 37 years of service. She was predeceased by one brother, James Wright Shelley Jr. Surviving are one son, Kenneth Frye and his wife, Shelby; one daughter, Lynn Jordan and her husband, Mal, all of Galivants Ferry; four grandchildren, Eric Frye and his wife, Jodie, of Alabama, James Jordan and his wife, Brandi, of Galivants Ferry, Carla Jordan and Keith Frye both of Charleston; two great-grandchildren, Garrett and Austin Frye of Alabama. Mrs. Frye is also survived by six siblings, Thomas McRay Shelley of Aynor, Edna Merle Mishoe of Ladson, Elneeda Frye of Galivants Ferry, Edison Shelley of Greenwood, Carl Shelley of Galivants Ferry, and Shelby Jean Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at the Aynor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Norman Johnson and Dennis Mardis officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.
