Description	:	Edna Ruth Shelton July 16, 1925 - January 21, 2014 Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Ruth Moore Shelton, age 88, of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dean Northcutt and Bro. Louis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Blanton Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the Shelton family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Shelton passed away Tuesday afternoon at United Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Shelton was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late Leroy and Ludie Lusk Moore. She was a homemaker and a member of the Blanton Chapel Home Demonstration Club and she also cooked at various places in the county. She loved to crochet and work in ceramics. Her love for travel took her to every state in the United States. She was a member of the Blanton Chapel Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shelton was also preceded in death by one son, Daniel Wayne Shelton; one daughter, Judy Gail Shelton; one granddaughter, Jenny Lynn Shelton; and two sisters, Norma Yates and Mary Alice Moultrie. She is survived by one son, Richard Keith (Lisa) Shelton of Manchester; five daughters, Carolyn (Dickie) Vickers, Barbara (Gary) Davenport, Hope (Jimmy) Lorance, Faye (Sherman) Wiser, and Shelia (Tom) Toneff, all of Manchester; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Shelton of Manchester; one brother, Kenny Moore; one sister, Iris Dean Morford; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
