Description	:	Edna V. Hudson, 70, a resident of the Elma area for 40 years, died in a local nursing home yesterday following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 13, 1903 in Dunkirk, NY. She taught school in MT and was employed as a cook in the Elma Hospital for several years. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. She married Roy Hudson Oct. 19, 1929 in Red Lodge, MT. He survives at the family home. Other survivors include two sons, Russell Hudson of Shelton and Morris Hudson of Lebanon, OR. Three daughters; Mrs. Harry (Janice) Tronson and Mrs. Thomas (Lola) O'Dell, both of Elma, and Mrs. Douglas (Gladys) Bennett of Hermiston, OR; five brothers: Bill Swanson of Tucson, AZ; Harry Swanson of Salem, OR; Elmer and Ed Swanson, both of Glendive, MT and Vic Swanson of Billings, MT; one sister, Mrs. Carl (Flora) Johnson of Billings; 20 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services held at 11 a.m. Sat, from the Whiteside Chapel, Elma. Burial will follow in the Elma Masonic Cemetery.
