Place of burial noted in obituary. Orangeville Banner, June 21, 1962, page 5 - OBITUARIES EDWARD A. ROBINSON Edward Armstrong Robinson died in Dufferin Area Hospital, Orangeville, on June 11, 1962. He was in his 90th year and had made his home at 251 West Broadway. Mr. Robinson was the son of the late George and Anne Robinson and he was born in the township of East Garafraxa. Edward Armstrong Robinson and Bertha Thompson were married and made their home at 251 Broadway for 45 years. Mr. Robinson retired 10 years ago. His wife predeceased him in 1954. He was an active member in St. Mark's Anglican Church all his life and was church warden for a number of years. He was an honorary member of the Orange Lodge. Surviving him are: one grandson, Don Robinson, and five great grandchildren. His wife, Bertha Thompson, and two sons, Oscar and Edgar predeceased their father and husband. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. R. E. F. Berry, were held from Dods Funeral Home, Orangeville, on June 11th. Mr. Thompson's (sic) body will rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Milton Robinson; Armour Robinson and Wilfred Robinson, nephews, of Toronto; Grant Jeffers, Orangeville; Gordon Thornton, Snelgrove and Art Woodland of Orangeville. Honorary pallbearers were: Dr. Campbell, George Brown, Carson Jeffers and Ed. Holmes.
