Edward Orr was united in marriage to Phyllis Upward February 27, 1937 and to this union five children were born, they being Edward C. Jr. of Glendo, Wyoming, Mrs. Bill [editor: Jeanette Irene¹] Perich of Kinnear, Wyoming and Larry, who resides at home. Two children preceded him in death [editor: Joe Henry and Dixie¹]. He and his family left Lewellen in 1945 to make their home in Wyoming where he operated a ranch until the time of his death. He was one of a large family of which seven brothers and three sisters are living. [Editor: Ed's parents were John Henry and Eleanor E. (Smith) Orr¹.] They are Joe Orr, Wes Orr, Alva Orr and Mrs. John McCall [editor: Edith Eleanor²] of Lewellen, Bert Orr of Oshkosh, Harold Orr of Ogallala, Mrs. Wayne Pattison [editor: from the 1910-1930 censuses, probably Nellie Gertrude] of Scottsbluff, Andy Orr of Masters, Colorado, Ted Orr of Kremmling, Colorado and Mrs. Perry Stackhouse [editor: Mildred Medora³] of Tuscola, Illinois. One brother Roy preceded him in death. Holechek Funeral Home of Bridgeport had charge of final arrangements and pallbearers were J. L.
