H Chenoweth, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge. Burial was made in the Stanton cemetery with Ernest Eckert, Wilbur Brown, John Renner. Edward David Kemper, son of Fredrick Kemper and his wife Catharine mee Brueggeman), was born Mav 11. 1872, at St Charles Mo He came to Nebraska as a small child and lived in Monterey where he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Later he Joined the Presbyterian faith to which he was affiliated at his death. Later he moved to Wisner where he was married to Miss Mary Schowalter May 3, 1905 The bride and groom moved to his farm in Stanton county where he lived until 1917 when he moved to Kimball In 1927 he moved back to the farm in Stanton county where he lived until 1939 He then moved to Stanton where he passed away at his home March 18, 1946 at the age of 73 years 10 months and 7 days. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, Bernhard, Grand Island, Herman, Stanton and Ivan, Cibolo, Tex., 5 grandchildren, 3 brothers. Henry Kemper. San Antonio.
