Father of Wesley and Everett Kausen, both of Ferndale. Brother of Meredith and Ronald Kausen and Mrs. Etta Reynolds, all of Eureka. Grandfather of Mrs. Lynn Smith of Redding. He worked for seven years for the old Waddington Store and from 1917 to 1923 he worked for Libby, McNeil and Libby of Loleta. Then, from 1923 to 1958, worked as a mechanic and truck driver for Foremost Golden State Dairy. He was a member of Woodmens of the World. Aged 82. Friends are invited to attend services at the chapel of Citizen Mortuary, Ferndale, Monday, June 18, 2 p.m. with Rev. Ed Cunningham of the First Congregational Church of Eureka officiating. Private concluding services at Sunset Memorial Park. Casketbearers will be Earl Ambrosini, Pat Goff, Manuel Sousa, Emery Bernardi, Carlo Ambrosini and Alan Peers.
