Hoye, 65, of RD 4, Deer Park, died Saturday at Garrett County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient two months. Bortn in McHenry, he was a son of the late Vernon M. and Vespa (Casteel) Hoye and was a member of Hoyes United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mildred R. (Fike) Hoye; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Harvey, Baltimore; two sons, Warren D. Hoye, Tacoma, Wash., and Edward L. Hoye, Deer Park; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Cauthers, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Thelma Reams, Deep Creek Village, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Minnich-Stewart Funeral Home where friend will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted at the Sand Flat Assembly of God Church tomorrow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Hartley Wigfield, Rev. Robert C. Collette and rev. E. T. Lyon officiating. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Ton Steyer, John Filsinger, Herbert Merrill, Randall Harvey, James Gower, and Andy Wilt. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend)
