The boy reportedly died of suffocation Wednesday evening when he became trapped beneath a pile of corn in which he had been playing. Neighborhood youngsters had made a tunnel in a large corn pile which was outside the Farmers Cooperative Elevator Co. not far from the boys' home. Surviving are the parents, Virgil and Irene Edwards Pruismann; three sisters, Cindy, Amy and Lauri; the paternal granndmother, Mrs. Maria Pruismann of Blairsburg, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Edwards, formerly of Webster City and now living in Story City. Eddie Pruismann was born June 13, 1962 at Webster City. The family had lived in the Gilbert and Story City area for the past several years.
