Description	:	OBITUARY Edward H. Streepy, son of Mac and Nancy Streepy, was born November 10th, 1861, on a farm two and one-half miles west of Cincinnati, Iowa, and departed this life at his home in Centerville, Iowa, April 13th, 1932, at the age of 70 years. On March 2, 1884, he was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Stevenson at Numa, Iowa, who survives him. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive: Earl of Des Moines, Mrs. Frank Harvey of Centerville, Mrs. Carl Bumgarner of Numa, and Blair of Billings, Montana. On March 2, 1884, he was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Stevenson at Numa, Iowa, who survives him. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive: Earl of Des Moines, Mrs. Frank Harvey of Centerville, Mrs. Carl Bumgarner of Numa, and Blair of Billings, Montana. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lem Besse, of Cincinnati, and Mrs. Mary Highbarger of Numa, Iowa, and a large number of relatives and friends. Mr. Streepy engaged in farming during his active life and was highly successful in that field of endeavor. He also took an active interest in public affairs and was elected to the county board of supervisors on two different occasions. He was a member of the board when the court house was built in 1893. He was a man of high principles and integrity. Brother Streepy was a fine Christian man. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ and was intensely interested in the activities of the church, although he held no position in the church organization. He was a member of the Loyal Men's class and the night before he died he attended a social function of the class. He was a loving husband, a fond father, a good neighbor and dependable friend. He will be missed by a large circle of acquaintances and friends. Funeral services were held from the Central Church of Christ Saturday afternoon in charge of H. E. Trimble, pastor of the church. Mr. Trimble took for his text the 16th verse of the 11th chapter of Hebrews, "But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly." Mrs. Duckworth and Mrs. Wood sang "In the Garden," "Going Down the Valley," and "Asleep In Jesus." Burial was in the Cincinnati cemetery.
