Description	:	Funeral services for Edward Lambert, 76, of Norfolk and formerly of Pierce, were held at 1:30 p.m. October 28 at Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce with Rev. Howard Shane officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery at Norfolk. Pall bearers were Don Hansen, Glen Larsen, Boyd Lambert, Marvin Hansen, Stanley Kiepke, and Kenneth Kiepke. Arlan Warneke was organist and the congregation sang "Nearer My God To Thee", "What A Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Abide With Me". Edward Lambert was· born January 21, 1910 at O'Neill, SD to William and Doris (Sebade) Lambert and passed away October 25, 1986 at Valley View Lodge in Norfolk. He was baptized April 10, 1910 and confirmed May' 9, 1926 at Zion Evangelical Church.in Creighton. On February 6, 1936 he was married to Esther Petersen at Madison. They.farmed near Plainview and Pierce until 1958 when they moved to Pierce where he worked at the Home service station. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Pierce. He had resided at Valley View Lodge at Norfolk since March of 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther; one son, LaRay; one grandson, one brother and one sister. Survivors include one daughter, Laurita Nitz of Pierce; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Lois. Hansen of Arlington; two brothers, Harold of Maryland and Melvin of Wyoming; a stepmother, Bernice Lambert of Table Rock; two stepbrothers and two stepsisters, He was a brother-in-law of Harvey Petersen, Dwain Petersen, Edwin Petersen, Leslie Petersen, Alta Rea, Vera Young-and the late Stella Miller of Plainview.
