His body is at the Keating-McKasson funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been made at this time. Burial will be in the Bohemian National cemetery at Williamson. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of the services. The casket will not be opened after the services. Mr. Taha, a retired farmer, died at the Crest Haven nursing home at noon Friday after a six-month illness. his home was at 602 north Walnut street. Edward J. Taha was born in Adams county, November 30, 1881. He was the son of Jacob and Anna Kosar Taha. He was married at Williamson, January 6, 1913 to Vera Vonasek, who preceded him in death August 7, 1953. Mr. Taha farmed north of Prescott until moving to Creston in 1947. Her is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Irene Bilderback of Creston and Mrs. Lorraine O'Donoghue of Des Moines; three grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, George Taha of Prescott; ans a sister, Mrs. Carrie Bartlett of Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
